Caprese Salad from Acetum

Caprese Salad

Main Ingredient:

Balsamic Vinegar

Ingredients:

4 Ripe, firm tomatoes (or sub with 2 dozen cherry tomatoes)

2 medium sized sliced balls (or blocks) of Mozzarella (or two packs of mini mozzarella balls)

10 Fresh Basil Leaves

1 TSP of Mazzetti

2 Leaf balsamic Vinegar (or Higher, to your preference).

2 TSP of Extra virgin Olive Oil Salt and Pepper

Cooking Instructions:

Slice Mozzarella and Tomatoes and arrange them together on the dish with the Mozzarella covering the tomatoes (or place the cherry tomatoes together with the small mozzarella balls on the dish). Dress the dish with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, balsamic Vinegar of Modena, and a pinch of salt and Pepper. Garnish the plate with fresh basil leaves.
