Pure olive oil- This oil had undergoes the filtering process and refinery. Extra light virgin olive oil- Also the oil were undergo the processing though, it has mild flavor only. Olive oil is the greatest component of monounsaturated fats; it also has the prime content of the Mediterranean diet. Olive oil is a natural fluid that preserves the taste, vitamins, aroma, and other nutrients of the olive fruit. Some studies have confirmed that olive oil can be absorbed by our body without the presence of the heat. When it comes to the health benefits of olive oil, although has is monounsaturated fats, it also contain high amounts of antioxidants which will help for eliminating bad cholesterol from our body. Smoking and drinking alcohol and eating fatty foods are the examples of bad cholesterol. Many studies have shown that the LDL (bad) cholesterol can be controlled by olive oil while the HDL (good) cholesterol will increase if you take about 2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil a day. Many researches have shown that the olive oil can prevent many kinds of illness and thwart cancer cells. It is also safe because it can be tolerated well by our stomach, and in fact you can drink the extra virgin olive oil before going to sleep.
