Uncork’d At Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas!

Presented by Bon Appetit, the Vegas Uncork’d fiesta celebrates the passion for cooking and wine with over 50 award winning chefs and lots of fabulous vino. This famed festival has now clearly become perhaps the most anticipated foodie event each year. There could truly be nowhere better for this spectacular series of events to be held than glitzy Las Vegas, which has become renowned as a shinning light in the culinary world. At Vegas Uncork’d visitors and foodie fans not only get to see their favorite celebrity chefs at work but will encounter many of the world’s master sommeliers and most innovative mixologists, and even get to rub elbows with them.
This year’s Vegas Uncork’d saw a celebratory kick off Champagne Saber-Off in front of the famous Fountains of Bellagio with the Mayor, Oscar B. Goodman. The following 3 days of culinary delights saw over 30 events being held from cooking and cocktail demonstrations to magnificent wine tastings, food tastings and lavish dinners. However, Vegas Uncork’d is far from all serious of solemn, attendees also were able to enjoy late night beach parties and see there favorite chefs competing in the Encore Celebrity Chef Blackjack Tournament.
Some of the incredible events that really stood out were the Garden of the Gods Grand Tasting at Caesars Palace which saw a vast number of mouthwatering culinary treats and over 100 of the world’s best spirits and wines spread over the dramatic Garden of the Gods oasis. Those who spoiled their mothers at the Sparkling Brunch with Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace certainly earned some points with their mothers and will find the experience hard to match up to again next year, unless of course they revisit Vegas Uncork’d. Chef Theo Schoenegger also put on a great menu for the exclusive ‘Come Fly With Me Dinner’ hosted by the Sinatra family and Steve Wynn. Though those attending Guy Savoy’s Master’s Series Dinner at Caesars Palace also enjoyed the ultimate indulgence with an extravagant dinner.
If you couldn’t make it to Vegas Uncork’d this year, you truly missed out on an experience of a lifetime. Just make sure to get your tickets to next year’s event early as anyone who has attended before will surely be scrambling to get back again.
