People are fond of traveling to see their family and friends they have not seen for a long time. To travel by plane is the most convenient way of going to one destination to another. It is not only convenient but the fastest way to travel. However, sometimes traveling by car is the best option to take for several reasons: you get to see different sights along the way and you can stop anywhere to answer a call of nature or just simply stop in a fast food restaurant and eat. Traveling by car is also less stressful unlike when you are traveling by bus, where you need to secure a seat or wait in airports for your flight. You can always go anytime you want when you travel by car and you can even sleep anywhere you want as long as you are safe inside the car. When you are on the road, it is important to bring something to eat. It may be your next full meal, especially if you are tired of eating fast food, or you can bring snacks in plastic containers to tie you up until your next stop. There are easy to prepare snacks that can satisfy your hunger, the same satisfaction you get when you eat a cheeseburger for a fast food chain. Try to pack these healthy snacks in zip-lock bags to keep it fresh longer. ? Pickles and Olives- these are both tasty treats even your children will love to eat. These are easy to pack and can satisfy your cravings while giving you the nutrients needed by the body. If you pack these delightful treats in zip-lock bags, you will have ample space in the car. ? Cheese cubes- choose your favorite cheese, cut them into small cubes and store them in a zip-lock bag for longer shelf life. If you get bored sitting in a car or plane, just open your bag and pop some cheese cubes into your mouth. Eating cheese can satisfy your hunger and give you the calcium your body need. ? Celery sticks- are very good to have as a crunchy snack instead of French fries from popular fast food restaurants. They taste good and you can bring a Tupperware full of celery sticks with your favorite dip. ? Berries- all types of berries are good for snack. These fruits are full of antioxidants, which is good for the health of your skin. Eat a handful when you feel hungry in the car. Store them in tight containers. Always bring a bottle of water or tea and avoid any drink with caffeine and alcohol. Keep on drinking water to keep hydrated though you are just sitting inside because temperatures inside the car are slightly higher than outside. Bring a sturdy or collapsible container to pack enough food for the long trip. If you are satisfied with your snacks or packed food, riding in a car will be easy and fun.
